The windsurfing centre in Aruba in the Caribbean offers flexibile windsurf rental and windsurf instruction from Aruba's beautiful Palm Beach ideal for all levels.

Location
The windsurf centre is located directly on Palm Beach with the sailing area, known as The Fisherman Hut, having flat water making it ideal for beginners, freeriders or freestylers. The launch is from the white sand beach and directly into clear blue water with a shallow sandy bottom for about 250-300 meters to the offshore reef which is marked by flag markers. The shallow water is waist deep until the reef where the condition change to rolling swell and bump & jump. This is where the PWA World Cup sailors compete and train and where the Aruba High Winds event takes place. It is advisable to wear booties as there is some broken off coral but mainly sandy bottom. Aruba offers a year round Caribbean windsurfing holiday destinations with winds averaging 15 knots year round but more typically higher around 17 knots. The best time of year to go is December - September. The summer months (May-Sept) typically have 90% with most days 17-20 knots and offer the best value. The winds start strong in the morning and generally are consistent all day.
Facilities
Set on a beautiful sandy beach with sun beds available for guests of the centre. The centre has changing and shower facilities and you can walk to a variety of shops, bars and restaurants some on the beach, for snacks and refreshments. The windsurfing centre in Aruba is a highly professional and well run centre, offering full rental and instruction service with a wide choice of the latest Neil Pryde, JP-Australia and Starboard equipment.
The centre does not offer storage due to lack of space available. Other activities available at the centre include kitesurfing, surfing and SUP. Just along the beach diving, snorkelling & leisure boat trips, catamaran sailing, parasailing, jetskis and banana boats are available.

Tuition
Windsurfing Tuition: Beginners - Advanced.
Lessons are available on a daily basis and taught at 9:30am, 11am, 2pm and 3:30pm.
Beginner courses include introduction to windsurfing for beginners, steering, stance, fast tacks, beginner fact tack, beginner beach start and intro to harness use, "Da Cool Stance". These courses are in groups of up to 4 people and are 1 hour in length.
Advanced course include thigh to chest deep waterstarting, committing to harness 1st, 2nd & 3rd gears, getting in front footstrap 1st-4th gears, chest to overhead waterstart , getting in da back footstrap 1st-5th gears, speed, efficiency, and upwind in da straps, gybe set-up "Head to Toes", smooth gybe initiation & carving, gybe footwork, sail flip and faster exit, carving shortboard super fast tacks, duck gybing, masters in laydowns, milestones of chop hopping, theory & practice of the carving 360, modern science of body drags, jump gybe, dynamics of back wind gybing, psychology of abnormal gybing & its effects,, fundamentals of looping,, advanced philosophy of windsurfing logic.
